Precipice is a new family of shelves designed for the studio apartment dweller who enjoys entertaining company. With limited space and being in such close proximity to your neighbors, storage and noise are of the utmost concern. Precipice was designed for this person, to not only work alongside existing furniture, but to be an affordable, effective, and attractive use of space in their apartment. Each piece is made from sound absorbent foam and a sturdy top or mounting base, providing noise reduction along with space for open storage.
Precipice comes in three different sizes for every space and use one would need. The first is the smallest of the three, easily combined to create a system with the others, it stands alone in an entry way, keeping your keys always in sight, a few gather together near the closet to display some favorite jewelry and heirlooms. The medium dome is the most versatile, large enough to hold almost anything but small enough to fit most anywhere along a wall. It contains what one wants to store out of sight but not out of reach. The largest of the three becomes the workhorse of the set. Large enough to act as a bedside table but also a great setting for entertaining without having your guests feel as if they are going through your personal belongings.
