Drawing Competitions

These interactive sculptures place two individuals against each other in striving to achieve a goal. One a prompt to draw a self portrait and another, to finish a simple maze first. In order for one individual to complete their task, the other is forced to sacrifice their ability to compete at all. This work is created as a simplified and playful commentary informed upon discussions of financial, resource, and gender inequalities.
